The music at St Mary's is tailored to suit the partiuclar service or event. We use a wide range of traditional hymns and more modern songs to augment and uplift our worship. We have recently adopted the newly published "Ancient & Modern: Hymns and songs for refreshing worship", using a generous bequest from the estate of Rev Margaret Chapman.
An experienced and dedicated Choir provides music at most of the services at St Mary's, and regularly performs a choral anthem at our Holy Communion services.
Our "family" services, which are designed as all-age worship, have recently been reviewed and reprinted, and now include more musical elements which the children will recognise and be able to join in.
