Little Hallingbury Church of England (Voluntary Aided) Primary School
We are fortunate to have close links with the local Church of England Primary School, which is situated just across the road from St Mary's Church. We provide a link to the School's website.
There are representatives of both churches, including Rev David Herrick, who sit on the School's Governing Body, and there are many joint events which are organised throughout the year.
The whole School comes to St Mary's church on Mondays during termtime for an assembly, which is taken either by Rev David Herrick or by Caroline Harding, who is primarily responsible for Youth Work in the benefice.
The School provides an excellent, well-rounded education for children within the geographical area of the benefice and beyond. The religious education provision was recently categorised as "Good" during an inspection on behalf of the Diocesan Board of Education, and the co-operation between the School and our churches helps to ensure that every pupil has an understanding of the Christian community and what it can offer.
