Youth work and children's ministry
We welcome children (of all ages!) to our services, and there is an area set aside in both buildings which provides activities to occupy younger children and their parents/carers during services.
During school term time, we run an Edward Bear Club for mothers and toddlers. The club meets on a Tuesday between 9.15 and 10.45am. The first hour will involve structured, bible-themed play, craft and story telling, and the final half hour will be a time for refreshment and fellowship - to which everyone is invited whether they have a toddler or not! |
The School in Little Hallingbury is a Church of England Aided Primary School. We have very close links with School and the whole student body comes into St Mary's Church on a Thursday morning for assembly, led by a member of the Church.
A Playgroup provides childcare and learning for pre-school age children in the Little Hallingbury Village Hall. The Playgroup has a service in St Mary's at the end of each half-term to which parents and carers are invited. |
